Intellectual Property Symposium (Fall 2013)

One of the most recognized Engineering schools in the country, Texas A&M University, through its recently acquired Law School, provides a unique opportunity for legal scholars to come together and present on and discuss cutting-edge topics in Intellectual Property law. The Symposium showcased nine of the nation’s leading experts. Specifically, these experts will discus how technological and sociological changes have created new challenges and opportunities in various areas of Intellectual Property law, including 3-D printing, the digitalization of art, and the way Copyright laws affect programs such as iTunes. A scholarly endeavor, the Symposium strived to educate and to spark thought and debate that will help shape the future of the law.
